The Sanfong Central Street, also known as the SanfongJhong Street is a traditional shopping street in the Sanmin District. Numerous grocery stores on this road have made it the largest wholesale center for grocery items. Spanning 400 metres, the street gets bustling a few months before the Chinese New Year as the decorative items, candies and delicacies and the fresh farm products are sold here. Many of the stores on the Sanfong Central Street are over four hundred years old and they sell everything from dried cuttlefish to snacks, incense sticks to Chinese Herb, tea leaves to sundried poultry products and so on.
