  • Great food and great recommendations from the server. She was very good and attentive but not being smothering. Started out with a raw plate for an appetizer. Not a fan of octopus but this was done so well that it tasted amazing. Pork tacos were wonderful and the pizzas were good. Would recommend and would go back. Great little spot.

  • Open air restaurant sounds great until you are there. It's so hot without a/c... it's not their fault but there wasn't a breeze. Even with the fans, which aren't felt by all the tables, was suffocating. On top of that our waitress barely did the minimum. The happy hour prices are really good, but the veggies on the pizza were not even cooked. Maybe that's how they make it in Hawaii...but raw onions and green peppers are not my kind of pizza.

  • Excellent place! Great food, great drinks! Their Mai Tai is understandably their crown jewel of drinks. Absolutely amazing. All three of the cocktails I got though were all phenomenal. Highly recommend this place! Their live music was an added bonus!

  • My husband and I visited Monkeypod at the recommendation of a friend, and we were not disappointed. We had a fabulous server, Ashley. We got the lobster deviled eggs as an appetizer which may have been the best deviled eggs I’ve ever had. We both got the grilled ahi for our entree, and we cleaned our plates. Ashley asked if we were their for a special occasion, so we told her it was our honeymoon, and she brought us a piece of coconut pie on the house. It was delicious. Our cocktails were great. We loved the open air concept. We were both very impressed, and will definitely go back if we are lucky enough to visit Hawaii again.

  • Great place to eat across the street from Aulani. Eight of us including 4 kids. We ended up ordering pizza and appetizers for the adults and the kids had the kids menu. The food was great and the cocktails were delicious. Happy hour from 3-530 is a bonus. We will be going back. Kyle was our server who took great care of us.
