Frere Hall is the eighteenth-century building in Karachi which has evolved as the significant landmark in the city. Today, the hall is being used a library and an exhibition place. It was built in the British colonial era and has a perfect blend of different architectural styles from that time. Influence of the Venetian-Gothic style is evident along with the local as well as British architecture. Yellow-toned limestones dominate the structure whereas red and grey sandstones can also be seen. Mosaic carvings on the walls are still well-preserved and look picturesque. Visit this place if you have a couple of hours to spare and admire its beauty.
