The TelagaMadirda is a natural lake hidden beneath the Mount Lawu Slope at the Tlogo Village. The hike to the lake is lesser known and hence, you will be able to enjoy the unspoilt beauty of the lakeside. The easiest way to explore the lake is from the Sukuh Temple as from there you will get the help of the local residents who will show you the proper path leading to TelagaMadirda. The road is rugged, narrow and tends to be steep in some cases, so if you are not comfortable with hiking, you can hire a motorcycle taxi from the roadside. The lake surrounded by dense lush forestry will soothe your mind and you will also notice formation of silts due to mud deposit.
