Therme Vierordtbad was first opened in 1900. Built in the Art Nouveau style, this is considered as the best sauna in Karlsruhe. Located in the historic bathhouse, this indoor swimming pool offers large sauna, physiotherapy and massage services. Besides the 95°, 90°, 85°, steam bath sauna inside, it also has 3 outdoor saunas. Every 30 minutes someone from the staff comes and sprinkles the hot stones with aroma-infused water. There is a dedicated relaxing area where you can find recliners and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the courtyards, which has the stone balance of Eckard Sültemeyer. This reasonably priced place serves a perfect spot to spend some wonderful hours of rest and tranquility in the middle of the city.
