About Garden Of Dreams, Kathmandu

The Garden of Dreams, a neo classical historical garden, is situated in the midst of Kathmandu city, Nepal. The Garden's design has much in common with formal European gardens: paved perimeter paths, punctuated by pavilions, trellises, and various planting areas, surrounded by a sunken flower garden with a large pond at its center. It is an architectural landscape that encourages the visitor to stroll around and discover the Garden's treasures from many different vantage points.

Great to spend a romantic evening with a loved one or even a peaceful few hours by yourself, the Garden of Dreams is a wonderland in its own right. An oasis of calm in the heart of the bustling Kathmandu, the gorgeous greenery is definitely a panacea for a weary soul. So it doesn’t come as a surprise when you see a lot of people lazing around din the garden with a book in their hand or just enjoying a nap in the pleasant sunny weather.

Even though you might find the food a bit overpriced at the Garden of Dreams restaurant, the serene feeling of joy that you feel there is truly priceless. For Garden of Dreams opening time, opening days and entrance fee please refer the below given information.

Garden Of Dreams, Kathmandu Reviews - Write a Review

  • A peaceful little garden to escape the dusty hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. It cost 200NRs for entry and you could easily walk the whole garden in less than 10 minutes, but it's more a great place to bring a book and relax! Lots of beautiful flowers and nice European style architecture to admire.

  • Lovely oasis in a hectic city. Well worth a visit. I was there before restaurant opened or I would have tried it, very pleasant tranquil environment.

  • The absolute place to relax arriving from the airport or just to hang out in a beautiful garden. Some mattresses and cushions are provided, there is security and cafes and that is pretty much everything you need for a power nap in a green oasis in the middle of the city.

  • This is a fantastic garden. Its beautiful and you feel like you are in heaven. I suggest you to visit here and enjoy the beauty.

  • This place simply is one of the best part of town to have spare time. In the busy, dusted, roaming and crowded corners of Kathmandu this is a place that is really preferred by peace and silence lovers. It has great ambience with lots of greeneries around with fresh natural vibes and swift flowing wind. I didn't rate it 5star cause there is this rule of entrance fee for perheads which is really demotivating for frequent visits and the restaurant inside the area is quite expensive. But at last if you wanna be surrounded by nature and have some peaceful time it is the best place. And if you also haven't ever seen squirrels in your life this may get interesting cause the place is covered up by squirrels.
