The Dainu Slenis or the Song Valley is a traditional performing centre where the Song Festival takes place every year. Surrounded by lush greenery, the park retains a poetic environment, which would inspire any romantic. The Dainu Slenis was found by Composer and Conductor Clement Griauzd in 1937. The venue is set up on the slopes of the Ozkunina and the seats too are built on natural setup so that the audience can feel the grass beneath their feet while enjoying the Ionic celebrations, dance and musical performances under the open sky. Surrounded by the Oak groves, the Song Valley welcomes around four thousand performers and the number of spectators can reach two times more.
