Anasakti Ashram, Kausani Reviews

  • The moment you reach there, you will get to know why GandhiJi chose this place to make an Ashram here and praise about this place and even wrote a book here. Its a heavenly place. If you are visiting in off season you will witness its all round beauty l. The whole view of Himalayas is visible from this place. If you want to see all peaks with details then winter season is the best. There is a navigation stone which shows which peak is on which side. Calmness gives you power to think and go deeper inside you. You will find the calmness here. Spend some time here, sit in one of the corners and try to close your eyes and try to focus inside. You will really feel different. Happy travel πŸ‘‹πŸΌπŸ‘‹πŸΌ

  • Worst thing I have ever faced. DO NOT - I repeat do not stay here at all, unless you have some emergency and unable to find any room elsewhere. And if you stay here you will face worst manager in the world. Don't expect any kind of service here. Forget drinking You won't get hot/warm water for bathing even in winters. You can't even ask for a spare blanket if you feel cold. Attitude of manager is such that you'll regret staying here. You'll feel like they don't want you to stay there and come there again. Only good thing about here is it's location. You get nice sunrise and sunset views from here. However it's an open place and you can enjoy the view if you'd staying nearby also.

  • The only reason why I would recommend this place, is the view of the mountains which you get from here. We saw the sun set from here and it truly was amazing. The museum might interest the kids!

  • Nice and peaceful place. Can't say a lot as I went when it was closed but worth a visit when in Kausani.

  • Place is situated in a good place to View Peaks of mighty Himalayan Range. A museum with lots of rare pictures of Mahatma Gandhi is there for visitors. You can enjoy calm and quiteness of nature while sitting here enjoying the view Himalaya.
