Tucked away inside the Rutland community, this park is a treat for the nature lovers especially the bird watchers. Located around a pond, Chichester Wetland Park is a rarity in the largely arid region of Okanagan. This wetland park provides an ideal environment for wildlife habitat and is the home for many species of breeding birds including the migratory ones, attracting many birders to visit the park for bird watching. The lake is also home to painted turtles which are being rehabilitated here. It is an ideal place to step out of the daily routine and explore nature.
