Bristol Renaissance Faire is a fair held in Bristol, Wisconsin. The venue for the event is a renaissance themed park which recreates Queen Elizabeth I visit of Bristol, a port city in England. The Fair occurs for nine weekends starting from early July and culminating on Labour Day. The whole setting takes you back to 16th century England which includes food, crafts, music, games and rides inspired from that time period. The costumes and the characters match the theme and there are chances that one may run into Jesters or sword fighters. Various items made of clay glass, leather etc are on display.

  • I've been coming here for close to 15 years. It's always a ton of fun and they're constantly updating the grounds, shows, and vendors. It's seriously worth the admission price. There is so much to see and do and I can't think of anything better to do in the summer than spend it at the Bristol Renaissance Faire!

  • Great family fun every single visit! Plenty to keep everyone entertained and happy, from good food (must try the cheese balls and plentiful ice cream servings, good booze selections too), to shopping (jewellery, weaponry, and clothes), and most importantly rides/petting zoos/fantastical sites (roaming fairies, comedy shows, etc). This has to be on everybody's bucket list, though my family will certainly continue to enjoy for years to come.

  • Place to visit summer time. Get back to medieval era and have a lot of fun. May be too commercial sometimes...

  • We go every year and always have a great time. It is all outside and a little hilly, so dress accordingly. All of the shows are great, especially Moonie. The fair food is awesome and the shops have very unique items. A lot of the shops take a card, but many don't so bring cash.

  • Fun and unique experience. Employees and many guests dress the part for the period. Entertainment at every turn from free stage shows , games of skill, Renaissance roles played by employees, actors and audience members and people watching to your heart's content. Fun day. Good food and drink. For ages 3 to 90. Lots of walking and hills . Plenty of shade on hot days and shelter during rain.
