A public recreation area with a small waterfall and hiking trails, Kent Falls State Park has evidence that the area was once used for fishing and camping by the Native Americans. You get access to the Kent falls by crossing the replica of a covered bridge and the spectacular scenery of the park makes it an ideal spot for picnicking. The Kent Falls trail in the park is a steep trail which provides scenic vantage points to the hikers.

  • I hadn’t been to Kent Falls in years so when I went this year it was definitely different than I remembered it. There was plenty of room to throw a blanket down and chill. The walk to the top of the multiple waterfalls was nice, but the falls were a lot less dramatic than I remember. Perhaps it’s the dry summer or the scores of people you passed going up and down that somewhat dampened the experience. It’s nature as enjoyed by the many.

  • Great place to checkout some small waterfalls and short trails. If you're looking for longer trails to spend the day it's not the place. However it's a great stop you can still spend a half day.

  • it is worth it parking is 15 dollars on holidays and weekends until 4pm. There is no swimming or going in FALLS because people were leaving trash and getting hurt. other people behavior messes things up for people who respect the park and their own safety, however at first i was kind of mad about not able to go in water, but as i was leaving the park i seen people leave a lot of trash behind like they have maids despite the park has 3 huge dumpsters within the vicinity.highlights you can cook out there they have grills or bring a blanket and lay on the lawn and read a book, after 4p people go in water at their own risk because park rangers leave . the falls were beautiful didn't realize ct have things like this , just remember your safety and clean up after yourselves.

  • Beautiful forest lots of different tree species. A nice waterfall even with the low flow this time of year. Clean and tidy benches and toliet facilities. Path and walk is clearly marked to the top. Family enjoyed it.

  • It had a big grassy area, great place for a picnic or yard games. Short hike with views of the falls the whole way up. Nice seating areas around the base of the falls. Lots of parking.
