Misty Fjords national Monument is a national monument in Alaska. The glaciers have over millions of years have sculpted the granite into the shape that exists now. These glaciers have formed deep U shaped gouges which is visible all across the monument. The spectacular view that the monument offers is compared to none. All the canals, lakes and the structures that are found here are result of millions of years of forces acting upon the surfaces. Few of the peaks do rise to 1000 metres above sea level making for a magnificent sight.

The place is located at the extreme south eastern tip of Alaska and is a perfect retreat for nature and outdoor lovers.
