This amazing rehabilitation center has been created for both native and migratory wild birds which have either been harmed or been displaced. This center puts in great effort to rescue such birds, rehabilitate them and lastly release them with birds of their kind. A bird lover simply cannot miss out this attraction with an array of species being kept here which makes the site worth seeing. The center is open from sunrise till sunset.
Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center Reviews & Ratings
Love what you all do! We visit and donate every year!
We are so lucky to have this place in the upper keys. Stop in and learn about our local bird life and learn how the birds are rehabilitated as well.
My boyfriend and I were on vacation in the Keys and happened to come across this location - we were both so happy that we did! Their mission is to promote harmonious living among wildlife, humans and our natural environment. This establishment rehabilitates various avian species that are hurt or sick and provides educational resources to learn about the importance of our winged friends. A truly wonderful place - there should be more of its kind.
This review is the Laura Quinn wild bird center. Small, unstaffed free enclosures of rehabilitating birds. Well done exhibits. Give a donation and help these guys out. This place is associated with but not the same location as the Florida Keys Wild bird Hospital down the street. In order to see the birds you must go to the Laura Quinn center location. You'll spend less than an hour here .
Cool place and very informative.
