This is a favorite place of ours. It's very relaxing. Sorry to see that huge tree is gone 😔
I was very impressed by this botanical garden. The fort made it so much more special and added a historical aspect to it and I’m glad I got to learn a bit of history on it when entering. The cactus were my favorite. They were HUGE y’all! Definitely check this place out if you are a plant lover. It’s right on the beach as well and you get the relaxing sounds of the waves in the background as your browse the plants and you can just sit and enjoy nature here. One of my favorite spots I visited in kw.
Beautiful place we loved it. It's recovered well after the hurricane. Great job at keeping it looking amazing..
Flowers are not my deal...but this place was impressive. The volunteers are great and help guests understand the different flowers and plants in the area....including some of the insects present. I have the feeling that if you enjoy flowers and plant life this place is heaven. It has an interesting history to add to the unique nature of the place.
Such a lovely group of people who maintain the West Martello Tower. They were welcoming and helpful. Taking their time to explain some of the history of the tower. They keep the tower clean and have a variety of plants to view. I would definitely visit again given the chance.
