Located at an elevation of 2710 feet above the sea level, the Rajmachi Fort offers spell-bounding views of Sahyadri Mountains and Shirota Dam. The base to reach the fort is the Udhewadi village which can be accessed from Kunhe Goan just before the Khandala Ghat.

You can reach the fort by a winding road and the ride by car will give a slight of adrenaline rush. The construction of the fort is spectacular and the natural caves are good for overnight camping. Locals serve modest local meals on pre-order.The Kalbhairavnath temple located at the base of the fort is worth visiting and you can camp there as well.

  • Just for name shake it's garden, Small but once you will get inside you will have awesome view of falls and mountains. Monkey always gonna scared you here so please take care of ur belongings. Overall it nice place with small garden, must visit place. Peace 😊

  • Mesmerizing hilly location but suitable only for serious trekking. It gets very challenging to reach during the rainy season. Local authority need to look into this aspect if they are serious about promoting the location. Thanks For Reading 📖

  • Superb view of the valley, Kune Falls and of course Express Way. Slides and all are not maintained, giving 5 stars just because of the view. If you are lucky you would get to see monkeys and feed them as well. Just be careful if you are giving them Bananas or other stuff directly from your bag, they tend to snatch the bag.

  • Nice place.. love the view from here... There are lot of monkeys here... Harmless and cute .. they even come and eat nuts from your hands if offered..

  • Rajmachi Park is at the top of Lonavla from where u can have a picturesque view of Mumbai Pune Expressway. In rainy season you will be in the clouds. You can have beautiful n Mind blowing view of waterfalls i front of you. Many hotels are nearby for having tasty food. In rains you can have a bite of hot roasted corns with lemon n salt. From here you can travel to many famous points in Lonavla and Khandala. Best time to visit this place is from August to October.
