Located at an elevation of 2710 feet above the sea level, the Rajmachi Fort offers spell-bounding views of Sahyadri Mountains and Shirota Dam. The base to reach the fort is the Udhewadi village which can be accessed from Kunhe Goan just before the Khandala Ghat.
You can reach the fort by a winding road and the ride by car will give a slight of adrenaline rush. The construction of the fort is spectacular and the natural caves are good for overnight camping. Rajamachi Park, Khandala Reviews - Write a Review
It is a good place. Great view of express highway and a great background landscape of mountains and waterfalls (if you are visiting during July - August). The place has some monkeys, but they are not much of a trouble. The parking is outside the garden on road itself and there is no designated place for parking. You can have lot of traditional stuff for eating. Advised to carry your own water.
Rajmachi village a 17kms off-road biking needs lot of strength.. Rough ride about 2 continuous hours will take you to this place. Very slippery, loose Grails and untidy paths. Careful is all I can say. Don't take if it's dark. Post 5pm. It's a trek route in 3 good hours you can reach this place. Food and facilities are available
For a high altitude view, it's a good place. Otherwise there is really nothing in the park. It's quite small. But views are amazing.
A really wonderful Nature place. Gives you please. An awesome view you can have from the pinnacle point.
Breathtaking scenery. . Awesome climate. Clean place. . You wouldn't want to go back until you sit there and relax for a while
