The National Museum of Sudan also referred to as Sudan National Museum is a doubled storied building that was constructed in the year 1955 and was then established as a National Museum in the year 1971. The building along with its surrounding gardens houses the largest collection of Nubian archaeology in the world including objects from the Paleolithic to the Islamic Period.
