  • Amazing cathedral, its even more beautiful when seen from the bell tower. this make climbing the wooden steps of bell tower, worth it. Architectural beauty from inside out. the paintings depicted on the walls are something to be mesmerized with. the atmosphere is so clam, its wonderful to be there. The entrance is chargeable given it also attracts tourists, the fee is nominal at 60 UAH. have cafe and washrooms inside with beautiful garden. can spend hours if one wishes to.

  • Amazing 1000 year old building. Entry is cheap and there are still paintings on the walls from when it was first constructed. English translations of exhibits are also available.

  • Beautiful cathedral, today a museum. The interior and exterior are simply stunning. Make sure to soak in all the details inside and check out the amazing icon mosaic made of Easter eggs!

  • Calm and nice place, where you can relax and enjoy the silence. Also there are one of the most beautiful view of the city from the Bell tower.

  • Must visit - the Sofia cathedral has some of the largest collection of orthodox frescoes from XI-XII century - incredible monument of art. Best is to take a tour, as there are so many frescoes and mosaics that require explanation to fully understand them
