The Camp Kigali Memorial, also called the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial is a former military compound in Rwanda that is now turned into a memorial. The memorial has 10 stone columns erected that mark the spot where 10 of the Belgian UN blue beret soldiers were murdered on April 7, 1994, on the first day of the Rwandan Genocide. The camp hosts a small museum which displays some of the artifacts that speak of one of the darkest days from the history of Rwanda.
