The Rwanda Art Museum in Kanombe is located 4 kilometers from Kigali. The country’s only museum of contemporary art is set inside a historic building that was once home to two former Rwandan presidents; Juvenal Habyarimana and Pasteur Bizimungu. The museum has a total of 127 artworks that are a mix of sculptures, paintings, mixed media and ceramics that have been produced by 51 different artists. The museum also has a kids’ studio.
