Killkenny Castle Grounds Reviews & Ratings
I only walked around the outside of the castle and stopped in real quick for some tea and a scone as I was limited on time. The courtyard was beautiful and the scone was delicious! Maybe one day I will get to come back and see the inside.
This park is just a treasure to have on our doorstep. There's space for everyone to be able to enjoy and relax. Dogs have a place to run free and play and the children have a great play area or huge amount of spaces for ball games. The coffee area is good to. Just a fabulous place to chill out for a while and take time out from the shopping. 😊
What a beautiful place. Its a beautiful walk. What ever time of year we go up there are different things to see. The people of kilkenny are so lucky to have such an amenity on their doorstep
This was a wonderful tour, well worth all the steps inside. A credit to the Council and the staff were so helpful and chatty. The gardens are a dream.
A great place to see some history and enjoy a walk on the large lawn. There were kids rolling down a hill in the distance and large trees that take your breath away. The castles are very unique with their own personality making no two the same. A short walk into the town was nice visiting numerous shops along the way.
