The picturesque Howard Park with its lush green lawns, wooded nature trails, kids play area and abundance of mature trees is a perfect spot to spend quality time with the nature. One of the significant sections of the Howard Park is the Lady’s Walk which used to be taken by the Earl of Kilmarnock’s grief stricken young widow. The trail commemorates the walks taken by the widow after the execution of her husband. It is a medium sized enchanting park with a large football field and the kids’ play area equipped with swings, sandboxes, climbing features, roundabouts and slides. The sloping hill meets at the center of the park and the Irvine River meanders through the park with bicycle trails running along it.
