Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery was an educational experience. There was a presentation on how Eucalyptus Oil industry was unique to the island before industrial interests overseas become more competitive. They stick as close to the original practises as possible. Gift shop is well stocked and while we didn’t eat here but the facilities looked nice.
I have no idea what goes on in the shop, I spent most of my time outside patting the wild life. I hear the fresh maron are tasty AF
Nice place to call in. Has a distinctive Kangaroo Island product. This place is one of the must see places while driving around. The dirt roads on KI are all in good condition.
Two baby Joey's to meet, a gorgeous friendly cattle dog and loads of history and information- not to mention the fabulous looking lunches and great trinkets and oils/balms/cleaning products available. A must see on KI.
Worth a visit if you are on the island. Interesting video presentation. Very friendly service.
