Lemoine Point Conservation Area - Review

Amidst 136 hectares of lush greenery and beautiful verdant hiking trails, Lemoine Point is a recreational center par excellence. Initially known as Herkimer’s Nose or Herkimer's Point after its original owner Captain Johan Jots Herkimer, the land soon saw an ownership change after a sale to Captain William Lemoine in 1836. The conservation area includes a variety of terrain, including deciduous woodlands, 2.5 km of shoreline, marshland, fields and grassy areas.
