Pump House Steam Museum, Kingston Reviews
This was a really cool place for the kids. The DaVinci exhibit was awesome, and the staff was very knowledgeable in walking us through the exhibit.
Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. There is also a great train layout for those interested in trains. Currently there is also a Da Vinci exhibit. Really interesting
Super-friendly, knowledgeable staff. We had a nice visit to the Pump House Steam Museum. It's not a huge museum so you could probably spend less than two hours there. We arrived at the end of the day so only had one hour. The model railroad section is great for younger children. Press a few buttons to watch the trains whiz around the tracks. It was interesting to learn about Kingston's bid to become the capital of Canada and the need for a steam-powered water pumping system. There are some interactive exhibits and we saw a Kingston Believe it or Not exhibit with fun facts about Kingston's early history. It was well worth the visit!
Great place for kids to explore!
Fun place to visit the huge engine! Really cool :)
