Sprawling over 1236 hectares, the Moorook Game Reserve offers a fantastic opportunity to camp by the Murray River and enjoy various water-based activities as well as bird watching. The campsites are under the shade of the trees and are separated from one another offering privacy to the campers. Kangaroos, Kookaburras, White Bellied Sea Eagles, Herons and a plethora of waterfowls near the Watchels Lagoon are your prized sights here. You can take a stroll along the boardwalk or enjoy canoeing in the creeks that run through the swamp areas. Callops and Carps are found in abundance in the Murray River. The Moorook Game Reserve also has a boat launching ramp for boating enthusiasts. River Box and River Red Gums are some of the native flora you will see here.
