Atalaya Castle Reviews & Ratings
The castle grounds were gorgeous and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Good for a visit if you have a couple of hours free. But I don't see spending a whole day here
Very cool historical place to visit!! I love thinking about what it would have been like to live there when 17 was just a dirt road!! Worth taking the time explore when you are in Huntington!!
Atalaya was a neat tour. Interesting history and nice being able to explore the place. Our family enjoyed the tour while staying at Huntington Beach State Park.
This is a really interesting spot for what it is! We enjoyed the informational plaques that are in almost every room that explain what that room was originally used for. The two dollar per person admission made sense because it was a relatively quick stop. If you are already in Hammocks Park, then I'd recommend seeing this. There were a lot of surprising places.
Beautiful. Went to Brookgreen a few years ago...this property is just as cool to see. Take the time and a few bucks to see some history and appreciate the architecture. Helpful staff.
