Constructed during the time of Napoleonic War, the Old Head Signal Tower is a nicely restored viewpoint in Kinsale. Originally a lighthouse, The Old Signal Tower is home to Lusitania Museum. The Old Head Signal Tower is 200 years old and was built between the years 1804 and 1806. The museum is located at the ground floor of the tower. You will find a number of displays offering an insight into the historic signal towers in Kinsale. The rooftop of the tower is the perfect place to enjoy the views of bird colonies and cliffs around.
