Dating back to 1190, St. Multose Church is one of the oldest and historic churches in Kinsale. Throughout the church’s 800 years long history, it went through a number of modifications. But even after this, you can see the reflection of medieval architecture. One of the most striking features of the church is its bell tower which is one of the few remaining things from the original Norman church. Other important features that you will notice in the church are its carved memorials and French inscriptions. The carved timber ornamentations at the altar are also quite noteworthy.
