By Air: All flights to Kiruna land at Kiruna airport, the northern most airport in Sweden. Operators like SAS and Barents AirLink has regular flights. From the airport, take an airport bus to get to the City. However, if you are traveling during off season, do not forget to book the taxi in advance. Another option worth exploring, if you aren’t traveling with much luggage, is to walk approximately a kilometre and get to highway E10 and look out for bus 501 which will take you to City.
By Rail: SJ connects Kiruna to various major cities with daily trains. At times, a change of train is required, inquire well before you start the journey and take tickets accordingly. Railway station in Kiruna is only around 400m away from the City.
By Bus: Lanstrafiken Norrbotten, regional bus operator; Horvalls Buss – local bus operator and Kiruna Buss – a charter bus – all of these combined make Kiruna a well-connected city.
