This beach was highly recommended by our hotel staff. It was an easy drive, just follow the the road to Kissamos and look for signs guiding you to Falassarna. When we arrived to the road that connects all the beaches, we headed right to the end of it. In other words, we went to the very east end of the beach. It was great because most people stopped earlier on at the "big beach" which made this one, less busy. We loved it! They said the water would be colder than other beaches but we didn't find that to be the case. It had nice waves which made it extra fun. Umbrella and beach chair available for rent for €3.50/per. PS - you'll def want a rental car to explore Crete, just be aware most (if not all) are manual transmission!
Very beautiful and peaceful beach. Easy access by car, with a free parking just behind the beach. Two beach loungers with umbrella cost 8 € the whole day. The sand is very fine and clean and the water crystal clear. The beach is very long, offering a lot of free space and loungers. Strand bars are also available just behind the beach. I would not recommend it for snorkling, because there is not much attraction in the water.
An absolutely gorgeous sandy beach with clear water and relatively cheap sunbeds (8€ per umbrella + two beds). It's also very easily accessible by car compared to other beaches in the area with the added bonus of free parking.
Very nice beach, clean, transparent water... It is beautiful to see the sunset. Sometimes it is windy
Nice beach with very long and wide sand area. 2 sunbeds + umbrella cost from 8 to 12 euros for the whole day. There are bars and taverns along the beach. Among minuses: showers/changing rooms/toilets are a lil bit far away from sunbeds area. During windy days there can be sand storms.
