About Bottle Beach, Ko Pha Ngan
Bottle Beach is considered to be one of the best beaches in Thailand, according to Conde Naste Traveller. The beach is bit isolated and therefore attracts a more laid back, hippie type of tourist. It looks picturesque with its crescent shaped cove and the white, wide sandy land area, surrounded by lush greenery. This beach was originally home to Chinese fishers and later on was brought to limelight with European visitors visiting it around 1980s. There are a number of activities that are available over here such as snorkeling and diving.

Bottle Beach, Ko Pha Ngan Reviews - Write a Review
No words to describe this place! What a dream! Paradise even! Huts are plenty for 2 people just stopping on. Plus much more luxurious ones at the end of the beach. What a beautiful place. Can't really say much more!
Hiking to Bottle Beach is awesome! It took us 1,5 hrs with our family. 2 kids ages 8 and 16. You follow the jungle track straight across the mountain and through the jungle. The track is rough so wear closed shoes. We would not recommend doing this on your "flipflops". Bring some water and you'll be fine. The track is set out with a Yellow/Blue mark. Not many tourists take this trail so don't expect a straight, paved walking path. There is no maintenance and after a storm parts of the trail might have slit away, or trees bearing the mark might have fallen down. To get on the track follow the road out of Chaloklum till the concrete road goes no further. Park your scooter there and walk al little further down the gravel road. Just on your left you'll see the first mark on a tree on a very small little trail going up. Along the trail there are several awesome view points and the reward of reaching Bottle Beach after the hike is great!! We went back by Taxi Boat. Should be between 100/200 Bath per person.
Remote and quiet. Only three resorts and restaurants on the beach.
Nice place, very quiet and split apart from rest of the island. Therefore you have to eat at local restaurant's.
I read reviews claiming that this was the best beach in Koh Phangan, so had pretty high expectations. Probably too high. I think it's overrated and there are nicer beaches on the east coast. Pretty hard to get to on a scooter, but we managed - six of us on four scooters with some pushing walking uphill involved
