Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach - Review

Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai are the twin coves that constitute a scenic double bay. They are renowned for their softly curved white sand bays surrounded by mountains covered in rich tropical rainforest. Thong Nai Pan Noi is the more popular of the two beaches as it radiates with a bohemian vibe and has a small village with some dazzling bars and restaurants. Thong Nai Pan Yai, on the other hand, is the longer and quieter of the two beaches. For those who are looking out for some adventure, there are a numerous trails to walk and waterfalls to visit here. Since this is the less visited of the two, the surrounding jungle is still a haven for many exotic tropical creatures.

Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach Information

Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, Ko Pha Ngan Reviews

Google+
  • I came here in the morning to meditate and go for a swim. The beach is blissful and beautiful. It's clean and coral free, so you don't have to worry about cutting your feet. Even if you're not staying a resort here, grab a motorbike and go and check it out. Highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

  • Great beach, not overly crowded and many bars and restaurants to chose from. Several resorts offering beachfront rooms, plenty of snorkeling tours and additional entertainment. We had the pleasure of staying here 4 days and despite the occasional rain showers we had great fun here.

  • Really nice beach. No waves, no rocks, just sand and water. It's great to take your kids here for a swim. If you are coming from another part of an island on a bike, road is in good condition, with most beautiful scenes. It curves and climbs up and down all the way with a few quite steep slopes but nothing too extreme.

  • This is one of the more beautiful beaches. White sand, palm trees, quite a few hotels. But be aware that this is the ultimate family zone. Kids everywhere. No authentic food (like nowhere on Koh Phangan) and crawling with Europeans.

  • Quite small beach, being developed alot of resorts nearby, water is great abit far from the main areas but great for a few hours visit.
