Maya Bay, Ko Phi Phi Don Reviews
One of the most beautiful beaches of Thailand. It wasn't crowded like we expected but still had a lot of people. It was on Christmas eve which should have helped. If you can get off the boat and take the land patch to reach the beach I strongly recommend as it is very amusing to climb the rope ladder and because there are bathrooms on the path. We were on a day trip so at the end of the afternoon they were much appreciated.
It is such a nice beach , in a secluded place. The water is very clear , and there are lot of people of different countries available there during peak time. The place is usually very crowded with lots of ships , speedboat coming and regularly at different intervals. The place is very clean and with lot of greenery. The sand is pure white. We also went to the place where the famous Hollywood movie "the beach" starring Leonardo DiCaprio was shooted . The place is near to Viking cave where Viking are believed to resided in past but now the place is closed for general public. I loved this place. Its awesome. One of the must visited places on your list to explore earth. Highly recommended.
5 stars for Mother Nature. This place is stunning but it is so overcrowded. Tiny stretch of sand full of boats and over excited visitors that shout and drink as if it this bay was their nightclub. If you can get past it, use your imagination, you can see still see the beauty within.
Nice bay and beach. That's it. There are many nice beaches in Thailand that are even more beautiful and photogenic than this one. Don't take me wrong, it's really a nice place but it's overrated because of "The Beach" movie that was taken there. It's overcrowded, there are usually hundreds of tourists at the same time on this small beach. And there are many boats everywhere. It's nearly impossible to enjoy the beauty of this place and its even harder to take some nice pictures of it unless you have enough time to sit there and patiently wait for your opportunity.
Nice beach but beware of the crowds. Very nice location, very clean however a lot of people go there. We visited the place at 630 am and there was already about 100+ people. Water is as described. Worth a visit, as early as possible
