Phi Phi View Point - Review

Climb up to the highest point (186 meters above the sea level) in Phi Phi islands to enjoy the spectacular views of Phi Phi Leh, Tonsai Village and Loh Dalum bays, divided by a 100 m flat strip of land. As you reach up the height you shall be able to see the unusual shape of the Phi Phi Islands, structured like ‘H’. Apart from the view, you can also opt for the three paths that go in different directions. The middle path will take you to Rantee Beach and the paths to the left and right lead to Pak Nam Beach and Ao Toh Koh respectively. The 20 minutes rigorous hike towards the point constitutes of climbing the mountain, and walking down the paved trail. During your journey you shall also find “Tsunami Evacuation Route”. Being the highest point, it is supposed to be the place where the population is supposed to take shelter in case of emergency. You can find cold drinks, ice creams and other snacks on sale at the top. Moreover, you can take hammocks on rent to have some rest.

  • You pay for moore than you get. Guess it's called Phi phi extra. Nice views from the balconies (two) and the pool. Near the party scene. We forgot our passports on the main land, so they needed to check in what shape we left the room the next day. Well I mentioned we were located near the party scene..

  • Beautiful view from pool and some rooms. The check in ladies were very friendly! A bit quieter then the main strip of hostels on the beach, but the sound definitely travels at night from the beach parties. The bed was rock hard. Otherwise great!

  • Pros: Great Pool, Nice staffs, close to party scene, pier transfer service. Cons: Loud music at night till 2 am ( not for sound sleepers ), Rooms were ok, had to do a long walk from pier ( if u have too many bags, sweaty), breakfast - better buy at the hotel cheaper than booked online or buy from 7/11.

  • Really expensive compared to what you get. The room looks very old and extremely dirty. Bugs and lizards all over and the bed sheets are one of the worst I have ever seen. Would recommend to find another hotel worth your money.

  • Rude staff. Bed covers were dirty. Asked for them to be changed and the women just walked away. Assumed she would be bringing new sheets but she didn't. Asked again later for new covers and we were told there are no new sheets. Then we were told the sheets are in storage but the manager went home and has got the keys to the storage cupboard. We were told to share beds to avoid using the dirty covers. Rude staff members. Windows not secure. No soap in the bathroom. Would never stay here again.
