  • Nice rooms. Great staff. Good value for money .The sea isn't very clean though. Probably because of the boats surrounding the hotel beach.

  • Rooms are decent and clean. Pool is nice. The ocean water isn't clear, only up to your ankles. Had to drive to another beach to swim. For families and not singles or couples - too many loud kids all hours of the early morning and day.

  • Really nice hotel in all respects but they knew we were bringing a baby and put us on the 3rd floor in a block with no lift (epic faff with pram). Also they didn't put a cot (crib) in the room as requested, not that it mattered as the room was much smaller than advertised and couldn't fit a cot in. Balcony tiny. I'm not even sure if it's possible to unfold the 2 chairs and table at the same time. Bathroom tiny. If you're travelling light and without a baby this place would be great. Good location too.

  • Excellent location. Good public facilities. Everything you need in the room. Great stay!!!

  • Ibis hotel Samui, firstly if you are considering staying in Koh Samui you might want to check thoroughly what you expect to see. Bophut is a really packed place where hotel are omnipresent and completely wasted the seafront making the water not suited to swim, much different from the pictures. Regarding Ibis also it was my wife's Birthday and our honey moon we received zero attention from the hotel expect a standard printed paper. The first room that we were allocated was overseeing a construction. Rooms are old and need to be refurbished. Breajfast is average but pastries seem to be a day old. The swimming pool area is nice and is what makes the hotel looks good. Much better places to stay at in Koh Samui go and check Air BnB. If in Koh Samui, go to waterfall hike for 45mn and swim there. Also snorkelling near Koh Tao but coral reef are dead. If you rent scooter at the hotel expect 300 baht, I thought I would go with them as according to the reception they were better quality. Once I saw the bike and the helmets which can't even close, I understood Ibis mentality... Don't bother and cross the road the guy is really nice and rent them for 200 plus he makes nice prices on tours ;) This is obviously a personal experience, overall Thailand is amazing sad that big group are spoiling the nature.
