This is an unusual attraction. It's a small shopping complex of 22 confectionaries, bake shops and sake bars now, but it used to be an elementary school. Remodeled into a creative atelier, it is now a centre of shopping and arts and crafts. Especially popular among the goods sold here are the Japanese candles at Matsumoto Shoten. This is one of the best places in the city to pick up a souvenir. There's an eatery on the second floor.
