Santa Cruz Basilica, Kochi Reviews

  • One of the best churches around in Kochi. It is one of the most historic churches in the area. The ambience inside this church cannot be described in words. I recommend 100% to everyone to visit this church and have the positive feel of being somewhere else.

  • Beautiful church near to the beach. I visited this church during my solo trip in Kerala on the time of Christmas carnival which is the best time to visit the churches. It was fully decorated with lights and people were singing Christmas carols. I attended the mass. The best part was they were reciting in English so you can understand everything. It's very majestic and carries archeological importance. You can just walk around the streets and find it on the main junction.

  • Santa Cruz is a very popular landmark and a tourist attraction in Fort Kochi. The aesthetics are very good. There is a lot of art inside like paintings on the ceilings and statues. Spacious parking on the outdoors along with ample of space for walking around.

  • Simply magnificent structure this Basilica has. It's a classic European era church, thats a reminder of the White towns where Brits once lived and where Native (Indians) were once restricted. I loved the building and the grounds outside but the inside of the church simply took my breath away. It's so beautiful and so calm. Should def visit 👍

  • Nice cool place with historic value. Attractive from inside and outside. Jesus and Mary do reside here. A must visit if you are in Cochin.
