  • This is a place where one can view twin rocks, which are called as the Pillar rocks.Very beautiful scenic atmosphere, with occasional fog and mist covering the rocks partly or fully. Such a pleasing atmosphere .Safe to bring individuals of all ages as the area is well bounded with railings. An entry fee is required to enter the viewing area. The two twin rocks are adjacent to each other skying several feet’s above the ground.

  • Superb viewpoint. It's great place to go and watch the view. But no point visiting here on a cloudy day as you would not see anything. Also the shops around this place are closed on Tuesday. So I would suggest that day for visit if possible to avoid the crowd

  • It’s a very nice place! If you visit it too early in the morning, then you will hardly see the pillar rocks due to fog. But still the place is beautiful in the early mornings too. If you want to view the rocks clear and nice, then you must visit it when the sun is up.

  • This place is one of the most important view point in Kodaikanal. You can observe two rocks look like pillars from here. Binoculars is readily available for rental. Don't be a cheapo and rent to enjoy the best view. By renting binoculars they will show you where to look sand what to see. Also you can see the villages from here.

  • Tourists visit this spot to enjoy the awesome view of three pillar like rocks standing side by side. The height of these rocks are sky reaching but often they are covered with mist and cloud. It depends on good luck to get a clear and full view of the rocks. Down the pillar rocks, a great view of valley and a narrow stream like water falls are available. Free parking is available on the roadside with great difficulty during season time. The road leads to this spot is one way. Many shops and food stalls are available. Visitors have to buy tickets for entry and taking cameras.
