Engage yourself in hiking in one of the most scenic hiking trails of Hokitika Gorge. The gorge leads you to the other end of the Hokitika River through a swinging bridge. It is recommended to prefer light coloured clothes if you want to prevent yourself from the relentless attack of sand flies. If you wish to explore forest, you may take the walkway which leads to the forest area where you will notice some rare species of floras.
