  • I found the zoo is very nice. Specifically they (zoo authority) built places for the animals very secure and a bit wild look. Though wild are wild still they are in the zoo. You will find drinking water all over the free. Toilets are good so far. There are some snacks shop within the zoo but price are a little expensive.

  • Visited after so many years with my 3 years old girl. Last time I visited I guess I was a kid. Loved the latest trip so much that I spent the entire day at the zoo. What I felt is that the place has become cleaner and very well maintained. Kids and children would definitely enjoy. Try food at the onsite restaurant. It's good. Ice creams and soft drinks are something that you get almost everywhere.

  • Nice zoo center in Kolkata. Best place for morning and evening walk. Here lots of varieties of animals and birds. Environment is greenery and very cool. This zoo is so big and beautiful walking paths are wide and clean. I think best place for biology students its most helpful for them. I visit this place this place is amazing...

  • Good place for one day travelling. Summer time is little bit claustrophobic and all the animals may rest in their relatively cool houses. But winter season is best. Online tickets are available. And also I have forgot to mention, travellers may bring outside food in the zoo premises.

  • A good place for children to visit. About 150 species are kept here. Tigers, crocodiles, Parakeets are good attractions. You can Giraffes also. Overall well maintained. It also has a cafeteria inside. Ample places to sit.
