  • This is a temple of the Hindu Goddess named 'Kali'. This temple is situated just beside the Ganges river. The devotees often take a bath in Ganges for removing their sins according to Hindu mythology and then come to the temple for worship of Goddess Kali. There is a main temple where the shrine of Goddess Kali resides and surrounding the temple there are couple of small temples having shrines of Lord Shiva and also Lord Shri Krishna. The temple has a security and one cannot take any mobile, camera or laptops or shoes inside. One has to deposit them at the outside counters. There is a good queue for the worship. The temple closes around 1:00 pm in the noon. So please do a visit in the early morning for a proper worship.

  • Best of this temple is there are no pandit's as like Kali temple. It's very calm and vibrant place. I personally like this temple very much . Just be in que and enjoy worship on your turn. Must visit place . Mobile and camera not allowed inside temple premises.

  • A very famous temple of Goddess Kali. Ramkrishna Paramahamsa the famous mystic and yogi was associated with this temple. This temple has seen many famous people, leaders, sportsmen etc as worshipers. I have also visited it many times. The serenity of the temple attracts me most.
