This place is absolutely wonderful there are 4 Gates having four sections of creative wonderlands. There is a Japanese Forest showing the immortal Japanese culture. The Japanese Forest has an a exciting lion Gate then the classical Japanese Bamboo trees with Japanese Restaurants. The Eco Park Contains the 7 wonders of the world in Gate 4 showing huge man-made structures of the seven wonders of the world . The park contains a butterfly garden, Mask Garden, Flower Garden and many more of such gardens. There is huge lake with a man-made luxuriously island with hotels and restaurants in it . There is also a counter for getting a peddle bloat and speed boat to roam around the island and the lake. There are fountains with lighting for night entertainment , restaurants and food corners everywhere and public toilets for the convenience of the general public.Overall it's a wonderful place to visit there were many more pardon me as I am unable to mention all like the ice skating place and many others .
Started out to be a very good place. Located at the outskirts of the city, around 8 km from airport this place is a haven for city dwellers who want to spend their evening peacefully. The place is so big that it cannot be covered in one day. Good place for family and friends ( ignoring the lovebirds who nowadays have emerged to be nothing less than blood sucking vampires, pun intended). In the evening there is a sound and light show which you can enjoy by sitting on the banks of the big lake in soothing evening breeze. There have opened a new segment which has miniature versions of seven wonders of the world. Good place to visit if you are photogenic.
It is a wonderful nature park and you can spend an afternoon there. Ticket is Rs. 50 per person. If you want to visit 7 wonder then you need to take another ticket just after entering through gate 4. However, other attractions like children park, lake, light and sound etc., you can enjoy in entry ticket only. It is huge park and it is very tough to complete all attractions in one afternoon. Hence first select what you want to visit and then select your entry gate accordingly.
Nice place to be with family and specially kids. Bicycle rides available on hire. Twin bicycle ride costs Rs 150 for half hour, and kid bicycle ride costs Rs 70 for 20 min. Road train ride available for Rs 150 per person. Quite huge in area- would need at least 4-5 hours or more for roaming on foot. Best time to be there is evenings - lots of cheerful people over there. Justifies the name city of joy. Musical fountain in evening after sunset-i would rate it 3 star- not very good, needs maintenance. Beware of dark corners if going with family or kids- lots of young couples in compromising position may be seen. Good cheap food available. Boating is also available, but was closed on the day I visited. Do go to the children park with 7 wonders of world being displayed- it's beautiful.
