Eden Gardens, Kolkata Reviews

  • One of the best Cricket stadiums in the world. I have watched matches at this venue on multiple occasions and it's a different experience altogether. The noise and the ambience coupled with the Mexican Wave is a visual treat. The outfield of Eden Gardens is lightning quick. Although one of the largest stadiums by siting capacity, yet the playing area is smaller as compared to other Indian grounds. The boundaries are much shorter in Eden Gardens as compared to other stadiums. But, nonetheless, it's a grand and historic cricket stadium. 🏏

  • Well, Eden Gardens is not just a cricket stadium, it is an emotion. This is famous not just in Kolkata, but all over the world as the best stadium to be in for watching a cricket match. The seats have gotten better. The only problem is food, which is still not up to the market. Good food costs extremely high, almost 5 times. Especially Domino's and Pizza Hut go for a loot inside the stadium. Water pouches are available @ ₹5/pouch, and the water is decent. Toilets are very unhygienic, small and most people go there to smoke. Try and avoid this unless it is absolutely important.

  • Well... We all know that this is a stadium... The capacity of it is near about 66000. This is the third largest stadium in India by capacity. A lot of final international matches have been played in this stadium so far. The museum where some valuable things have been kept, is well. Statistics also have been engraved inside the museum. The crowd able to creat a fantastic atmosphere...

  • Eden Garden is the oldest and largest stadium in India. This stadium is the second largest of the world in terms of spectacular seat capacity, after Melbourne. Eden Gardens is the home venue of the renowned franchisee KKR. The aesthetic beauty of the stadium on architectural trials is unequaled in one word. From outside, anyone can think of Eden Gardens as a sighted cricket museum. Among the best looking stadiums I have ever seen. No plastics and food material allowed inside the stadium.

  • One of the world's most historic cricket stadiums. A place which many of the famous cricketers and cricket administrators consider as the Mecca of world cricket. Wonderful atmosphere. Great environment. Only problem is the approach to the stadium if it rains.
