About Iskcon Temple, Kolkata
It is perhaps one of the best places to get acquainted with the city’s culture and folks. Owning the reputation of being the first temple in the ISKCON legacy, the temple has been a constant intrigue for devotees and spirituals across the globe. Commonly known as Sri Radha Govind Temple, it was built in 1972 and is solely dedicated to Lord Krishna and his consort Radha. As you enter the temple you come across its beautiful architecture and designs accompanied by carved wooden altar. Historians and those who are interested in mythology will surely love it here! In the mornings after the prayers and chants, the priests tend to recite the story of the deities to the followers which you must definitely witness. There are many restaurants around to eat as well.

Iskcon Temple, Kolkata Reviews
Very nice place. Peaceful environment. The building itself doesn't look like a temple. The temple itself is built on the first floor in an apartment. However the mandap is stunningly beautiful. There is also a restaurant which serves pure veg food and sweets and snacks. There's also a small garden outside with sitting space.
5 stars experience. Spiritual. Clean. Welcoming. Entertaining. If you are in Kolkata this is must place to go. And Govindas is story for itself. We are coming back here in two years time.
The temple makes u go to the era of Krishna..... With decorations and the mighty god makes the temple a perfect get together with it..... Who ever visits that temple they must try their bhog though it is not free ..... But the bhog is very very very tasty ....... The people of the temple is also very frank ..... Infact the people who love to take photographs are not ill treated there ...... After visiting temple one can go to the confectionery .... Just below the Temple....to sum it all its a nice place to visit...
Best place to be..good vibe ..nice play of instrumental ... people over there are even better ....peace can be found in the centre of the city...and thats the only place.... ISKCON i will surely visit every weekend... P.s good place for photography too....
The place of real devotion and peace amidst the noise and busy city life. ISKCON rocks. Jai shree Krishna. I just loved the ambience and particularly, the superior vegetarian dishes available inside the restaurant. Would like to visit as many times possible.
