Established in 1991, Nicco Park is one of the largest parks in India (with an area of around 40 acres) making it a must go to the destination during your Kolkata trip. It is both a family friendly recreational park with numerous opportunities and activities and an educative detour in nature. The park has an interesting story to it. It was actually an intention to recreate a Disneyland in Kolkata through this. The number of attractions that it offers include high-speed thrill rides, snow slides, water chutes, coasters, carousels and a boating lake. You can enjoy all the rides and then go on having a sumptuous meal in the food kiosk that stands in the area. Since it resides in the Salt Lake which is mere 30 minutes away from the city, it is easily reachable via both bus and two wheelers.

Very nice place to hangout and enjoy with friends and family. Good for kids also. There is a water park too, not been to it though. A lot of interesting rides are there. There's a Eiffel Tower lookalike here too. Definitely a cool place to enjoy one's weekend.
The entry fee is 200 which includes 11 free rides and the water park ticket costs 600 including the entry fee and the composite pack is of 650 which incldes all rides (water rides, dry rides and entry fee). The cyclone and sky diver is thrilling and awesome. The wet o water is just perfect to make your day. The water rides are very nice. It also has food court and game zones. Little expensive but Perfect place to visit with family.
Definitely the hallmark of theme and activity park in the city, with both dry & wet park right adjacent to each other. There definitely are a wider of rides across the country, but Nicco Park has almost become synonymous to a city heritage site so as to say. It lacks the basic availability of reasonably rated food, drinks & just free drinking water, but it makes up with the nostalgia attached to it, the growing up with it.
Its an awesome place. Its little expensive but the rides are awesome. The tickets for all rides cost 650. The wet o wild section is just amazing. Perfect place to enjoy with family though the food court is not so good.
This place is amazingly superb for the water rides(at least I liked those the most). Complete dry and water rides costs 650 and 200 or something which you see online provides only few rides. So always go for complete rides and try to manage some coupons as you will have to then pay just 300-350 for all rides. Most of the dry rides are also super apart from cyclone as it really was indegenious ( not smooth at all, only one of its kind Ha...Ha....) and the food courts are not that awesome. If you want to visit with friends and just have fun then it's the best place. Do maintain safety precautions. And it's better if you manage your own clothes for the occasion as getting them on rent is just added expense. Bachelor's can have great views(if you understand what I mean he...he...)
