It is another gift of Mother Teresa to humanity and those who are deprived and in need. The famous yet surprisingly small house was put forth to house the sick, destitute and the dying people of the region and is located on the J.C. Bose Road in Kolkata. The home was created out of a hostel in 1952 and if you look closely, you can still find specks of the Mughal era designs and domes donning the place. Come here to witness the effort of Mother Teresa who lived here till here demise and worked to provide a normal life to these individuals. The place has many heart rending stories that will not only make you weep but propel to look at life with a whole new perspective.
