  • The atmosphere there is calm and relaxing. Now the beach had some modifications in the recent times so that now people can sit there on the newly placed concrete benches and enjoy the evening. The park there is found attractive and for the kids there are some rides

  • This place is good for time pass. But if you need to play in sea then this is not a good place as the sea here is dangerous. This place became dangerous after the Tsunami in 2004. There is also a beautiful park in the beach with an entry pass of ₹5. This park is mainly meant for children. There are so many modifications now and the people can sit in the evening. This place is quite and calm and we can get a good relaxation for our mind.

  • My favourite place in the town..A good place to hang out with friends and family.. Children's will have a great weekend to remember.. Crowded on Saturdays and Sundays... Though well maintained authorities can improve more on sustainable waste disposal and awareness..Many fishermen population lives here.. Authorities may help them.by involving them in tourism activities..A museum may be created in the surrounding area showcasing the history of Kollam, livelihood activities done by fishermen, deep sea fishing etc..

  • A nice place to hang out with family or friends. But couldn't find any restroom, bench or other seating amenities for public. It also lacked garbage bins because of which, the beach appeared little unclean. The beach has a children's park with some fun rides.

  • The beach is not very crowded. You can sit and watch the waves. The street vendors don't usually bother. You can't however go close to the water as the currents are very harsh and unpredictable. Is very romantic.
