Park of Canals is a great place to visit with kids and family in Mesa, USA. The park has something in store for all age groups. There is a tot-lot which has swings, slides, rope ladders, and hanging bars, allowing kids to have fun to their heart’s content. There are paved tracks here that are ideal to take a leisure stroll in the park. As you explore the park you will come across a desert botanical garden which has a variety of cacti plants. There are picnic shelters as well as benches here for you to rest and enjoy lunch with dear ones. The park also has BBQ grills. Being home to a desert botanical garden, it has maintained the same kind of ecosystem. So, you will find very little shade here apart from the sheltered pavilions. Park Of Canals Reviews & Ratings

  • A quiet park with desert scrub and preserved ancient canals. A quaint little desert botanical garden is a great place to sit on a bench under a tree or find cool bugs.

  • Cool little park. Interesting collection of cacti. It's a pokemon nest if you are interested in that.

  • Could use more shade but it is still nice. The botanical gardens are very well kept and have great plant variety. The playground is fun for the kids. The bathrooms and the grounds were clean. Not a nice as some of the refurbished parks in Mesa but nice from a desert appropriate standpoint.

  • Great little desert-themed park that is rarely busy and away from the bustle.

  • The playground in this place is really unique, unlike anywhere else in the valley, the old wooden fort is really cool, and there are a ton of covered areas to sit and socialize/eat. It's always a good time, I strongly recommend a visit!
