Kanawa Island Resort, Komodo Reviews - Write a Review

  • This place has a very beautiful view. Its white sand with its greneery and blue ocean make this place is so peaceful. I came here only for taking photos.

  • Kanawa has been a great place. A poor management has little by little almost destroyed it in 3 years, I could see it going down year after year. No bale or tents anymore, only the aging bungalows now, 2 times more expensive, and they are in poor conditions (no water here, no electricity there, bad beds, no hammocks... you name it). Bad expensive food, dirty beach, a disinvested team. Doesn't worth at all the $60++ they ask for a night. Many fish and one turtle are still there.... But you don't have to go, or if you do just pass by for 1/2 day to enjoy the snorkeling but you can do that in other islets nearby, and for free.

  • The water was so good! And the different shades of the blue water were magnificent. There's also a small hill that you can hike to get a better view of the island.

  • Kanawa island is a dream! It's very quite, the sand is super white, the water is super clear and there's enough shade. I actually doubt if I would stay there for longer than a day. There's nothing! Which is MAGIC!

  • Best snorkling, tasty food n breakfast, excellent view, bad room , no water ...
