To get the raw essence of the history attached to the downtown of Kota Kinabalu, pay a visit to the Jesselton Point that acts as the ferry terminal and a fishing pier. Located in a quaint spot, the Jesselton Point will take to the old days as you explore the vintage snapshots adorning the walls and the old-school phone booths around the strand. You will find a great crowd on office timings as it is the only cheapest ferry terminal to ply the passengers of Labuan, Guyana Island, and Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. The waterfront is flanked by a number of restaurants, retail shops, F&B outlets, four court futsal corner and many handicraft selling stalls. You can enjoy fishing from 6 am to 6 pm. The jetty can also be rented for hosting parties and events.
